The Curse by Margaret McHeyzer was an amazing book. Once I started reading I was unable to put the book down ( I was able to finish this book in a day). In this book you pick up right where you left off in the Gift. We are brought back into Lexi’s world and get to experience what she is going through. Lexi is  learning to use her gift more thoroughly and growing every day. You are brought through the trials of her time with her new kidnapper and so much more that happens in that time!
You will be brought through so many twists, turns, tears, and heart racing moments. You’ll be given in my opinion a great conclusion but for me I still didn’t want it to end. I want to read so much more about Lexi, Jude, and how their lives may turn out.
I would recommend this series to anyone who is looking for something different. If you're looking for a good read that will grab you from the get go you truly need to take the time to start this series!!

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review:

I loved this book! I was drawn in from page one and couldn't put this book down! This books brings you into the live of Alexa she is your average sixteen year old teenager until she goes has emergency surgery for appendicitis. When she comes out of surgery however she is not the same as when she went in.
Alexa now has a special gift that allows her to touch people and see a glimpse into the future. She feels as though she should warn other if she sees their impending death, which brings her face to face with Jude.
This book brings you on many twists, turns, ups, downs, new feelings, lots of hurt, and finding one's self! I for one can’t wait to read the next installment to see what will come of Alexa’s future!

This is a world where life is a bitch and then you die. But I don’t want to die. I have everything to lose.

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I was pulled in from page one and couldn’t put the book down. I love the world Farah Cook has created. For me it is a different concept, one I have not yet read before. The fact that there is a secret viking societies/ cities out there and only raiders have the ability  find them is amazing.

In this book we get to see Nora acclimating to life as a Jarl. Many things are coming to light from Nora's past that she didn't know about, as well as many things she has yet to discover that will come in her future.

I love the dynamic between Frederick and Nora, as well as the fact that the author threw in a love triangle. This book is filled with many twists and turns as well as first loves, heartbreaks, and truly just discovering who you are. After the ending I am left with so many questions and can’t wait for answers here's to hoping book three is here soon!!

“I can’t bring you into the light and I don’t want to stay in the darkness anymore just because you want company. I can’t fix you.”

I received an ARC Copy of this book and voluntary read and reviewed:

This book drew me in from page one and I was unable to put it down. I love the dynamic between Nava and Rohan, they both have so much emotional baggage that they have a hard time just letting the other in. You can tell they both like/want each other but are both to stubborn to admit it.

This book takes place back at the the brotherhood in Vancouver, where Ari and Nava have a mission together. In this mission they have to figure out who is causing relatively healthy young individuals to have heart attacks. Ari takes lead in this mission that causes Nava to try and take matters into her own hands. Which of course results in bad decisions, arguments, and tests of relationships.

Throughout this book you get to see how the lines in good vs evil are not just black and white but grey. You see that maybe not all demons are bad ( Leo for example) and people like nava are accepting that but Ari is having a hard time coming to grips. And unfortunately no more questions are answered about the brotherhood and more questions are brought about!

I really enjoyed this book and truthfully can’t wait for the next installment! I want more Nava and Rohan, and hopefully more questions answered!

I lay my palm on his cheek. “Aw, Snowflake.”
“Don’t you dare pity me.”
“I don’t. I understand you.”

This book jumps right into the world of Nora Hunt. You are brought to the East where we get to see how Nora is currently living. The people in the east are peaceful, and are not ones for bragging or being competitive. All Nora’s life she has been different, she hasn’t looked like the other people from the east and has been an outcast and picked on because of that.
In the beginning of this book you get to see Nora go through the allocation, and from that she is taken from her home in the east and brought to the West where she is training to become a raider. You get to go with Nora as she learns many secretes about her past, goes through a grueling six weeks of training, and tries not to fall in love for the first time.
I really enjoyed this book the world Farah Cook has created is different from anything else I have ever read. I am very intrigued to see what is going to happen next and cannot wait to start the next installment!

“Have you ever seen anything as beautiful and strong as these wild animals?” I say admiringly.
“Yes, I have,” he says and stares intensely at me. “I’m looking at one right now.”

Mo chiad leannan. I know that wherever life takes me, you will remain with me, and I promise always to love you… Scout's honor."

I received an ARC copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book. When I first started reading I was a little upset that this book starts where the second book in the An Ancient Magic Series did. But I am glad to say I was not one bit disappointed! Once I started reading I was unable to put this book down. I love that we got to see things from Felix and Eisha’s point of views as well as a few others. So many questions were answered, many secrets were discovered, and so many things were left unanswered making you crave more!
I do have to say my favorite thing about this series is the dual perspectives! I love how certain characters drop subtle clues for the reader to discover. I love watching Eisha grow and just learning about her since we don’t find out much in the first two books in the Ancient magic Series.
I highly enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next installment in the series!
