 Half- Blood Descendant by Natasha Brown was a fantastic start to her new series. This book brings us into the world of Jax a shifter who has no idea he's not the only shifter around. Jax is a drifter and moves from place to place often. He finds himself Colorado parking his camper on his land ladys land and working at her mechanics shop. One night after shifting and going for a run he heads back to his place to find KT his landlady being bit in the neck by a man. From this point on Jax’s world changes. He is thrown into a supernatural community defending himself against not being the one to harm KT. During this time Jax meets Aerilyn. The pretty daughter to the societies leader. Together Jax and Aerilyn work together to help clear Jax’s name and teach him about their world. This book is fast paced and is well developed. I love the world and the characters the author has created. This book left me quickly turning the page to see what would happen next. It had so many things going on, questions left unanswered and love stories that need to be finished. I for one cant wait for the next installment.
